Soundracer Simulator turns your car into a V12 sounding beast

Even if you don?t have the money to afford a V12-powered supercar, who?s to say that you can?t enjoy the sound of that monstrous engine in your little Ford Taurus?

Okay, the operative word from that previous statement was ?sound? because with the SoundRacer V12 Engine sound simulator, that?s all you?re going to get. No engine. Just the sound of one.

Nobody said that you?d have to spend your life savings just so you can enjoy hearing the sound of a V12 while you?re out on the road. With the SoundRacer simulator, it?s going to be as easy as plugging the simulator into the lighter socket, selecting a frequency from your radio, and turning up the volume.

The simulator, which was invented by one Kenneth Palmestal, uses the sound of a supercar that?s near and dear to hearts: a 1980 Ferrari 512BBLM that was recorded at the Mugello race track two years ago.

It?s nice to know that you can have your cake and eat it too with this little simulator. For only $59, you can enjoy the shrieking sound of a V12 engine while running your errands on your Taurus.

And if the sound of a V12 is a little too much for you, check out the V8 version of the Soundracer by clicking here!

Press Release after the jump.
